- Increase ASSE visibility and presence in the community.
- Utilize National ASSE resources
- Increase outreach
GOALS: Member participation in two ASSE activities involving at least 50% new and current members.
METHODS:
- Involvement in newly created subcommittees
- Increase attendance at monthly ASSE membership meetings
- Award Recognition Incentive Programs
- Members Survey
- Mentor Programs
3. Membership Retention
GOALS: Retain 90% of current membership base.
METHODS:
- Member benefits
- Quality learning & networking opportunities
- Membership participation
4. Membership Professional Development
GOALS: Conduct 2 professional development sessions per year.
METHODS:
- Governor’s Pacific Rim Safety & Health Conference (2006)
- OSHA Hawaii Workshop (2007)
- ASP / CSP Workshops
- CHST / OHST Workshops

1. PACRIM Conference Steering Committee
- Continuous improvements in the marketing efforts to reach membership’s wide spectrum of discipline.
- Partner with related safety organizations
- Involve new ASSE members in the planning stages
- Use the expertise of individuals who are committed to improve the conference
